HSM prioritizes responsible, sustainable and inclusive sourcing to preserve and uplift environments and communities of the world through Source with Purpose, our global strategy to advance positive impact across supply chains.
HSM plays an integral role in driving responsible travel and tourism globally across our operations, supply chain and communities. We support these goals and advance our Source with Purpose strategy across three pillars:
HSM leverages our Responsible Sourcing Policy, Animal Welfare Statement and EcoVadis partnership to ensure suppliers are responsible and ethical business partners. We hold suppliers to the highest human rights standards and work at every level of the supply chain to advance shared goals. Learn more about HSM’s due diligence approach to mitigating ESG risk here.
Protecting and restoring the planet’s resources is of upmost importance, and companies’ supply chains play an essential role in that. We engage our suppliers to work towards a low carbon future and reduce waste to landfill at every stage of the product lifecycle.
We own our role in enabling all suppliers in their journey to become stronger stewards of people and the planet. HSM actively engages and empowers these businesses to scale their potential for economic growth.
Customers can draw on our industry-leading processes and services to support their own responsible sourcing efforts and advance business goals. Source with Purpose benefits include:
HSM is connecting Hilton properties across the U.S. with local animal shelters to create a sustainable pipeline for repurposing gently used towels and terry products. These donations will give retired terry products a second life helping as many as 70,000 shelter animals awaiting their forever home - all while diverting more than 140,000 pounds of landfill waste and supporting the local communities where we live, work and travel.
With a dual focus on waste reduction and positive community impact, our terry recycling program brings us one step closer to our goal of reducing waste to landfill by 50 percent by 2030.
